Does the NFL need kicking in the sport?

I honestly feel like we should just get rid of the extra kick and kickoffs, because I feel like punting and kicking is pointless. I think all of it should rely on passing or running the ball. I think it'd be a lot cooler to make it different when you get to 4th down. idk, just an idea. I just think kicking field goals and extra points slows things down too much. Maybe keep punting, but I think the extra point kicks are pointless. Lets get teams to do 2 pt conversions instead. What do you think?

I think it should stay to be honest. Kicking field goals and punting, slows the game down some, but I don't think it slows it down too much. I get why you'd want to remove it, but I think it gives players extra time to rest if anything.
