NFL Players can opt out of playing in 2021 due to covid

The NFL is extending the plan they offered back in 2020, that if any player wanted to sit out that season, they were allowed to. I heard there was like 67 players who sat out in 2020.

For those players who wish to opt out of playing in 2021, they will need to inform their teams by 4pm est on July 2nd if they plan to opt out of the season. Do you think any players will opt out? I could see some still opting out for 2021.

Makes sense, it's a good option to give your players if you're worried that this may rear its ugly head again.

I guess that's fine and all, but why not get the vaccine and just come back and play? But, if I had a chance to get a year off from my work, I'd take it too.
