Sean Salisbury Unloads On Baker Mayfield Critics

Former NFL quarterback Sean Salisbury explained why he's not overly concerned about Baker Mayfield's play from a long-term standpoint.

Sean Salisbury is a former NFL QB and is currently with the SportsTalk 790 in Houston. He had some things to say about people who are critics of Bakers play, because he knows Baker can play. He also stated, that if you think he can't play, that you're an idiot. And I agree. Baker knows what he is doing. But if his labrum injury is bothering him, that's to be expected. But, he's not making excuses for his poor play as of late, and I gotta say that's refreshing to me.

Anyway, we're going to see many critics. We just gotta move on and see what Baker can do.

Baker's wife also had some words for the naysayers out there. And honestly, I think he cemented his talent with the way he played yesterday. A bum of a QB doesn't play that good. I'm sorry, the hate this guy gets is beyond me.

It's like they still view the Browns as a team of losers, and they are far from that now days. This team is full of talent that teams need to take notice of. Baker isn't a bum of a QB, he has clear talent and he's proving that every week.
